In this week’s Top Surveillance Videos…
There has been a notable increase in gun violence over the past few years. Perhaps even more disturbing his how brazen many of these acts are.
One recent incident took place in Philadelphia and was caught on surveillance video. The footage shows a gun battle taking place in the middle of a street.
Six suspects can be seen running towards a street corner and firing their guns. Another angle shows their target: a group standing on another street corner, who end up returning fire. A third angle shows several shooters being struck by gunfire.
Police say around 87 shots were fired. One victim was found at the scene of the crime and taken to the hospital, and five more would end up taking themselves to nearby hospitals.

Surveillance video shows a store clerk keeping a watchful eye on two shoppers looking at clothing near the store’s door. Suddenly, one of them runs out the door with a handful of merchandise.
The second attempts to do the same but the store clerk makes it to the door first and refuses to let him out. She reprimands him and he attempts to escape but the clerk refuses to let him leave. Eventually he drops the items and is let go.
