WSC Honors Arecont Vision V.P. of Strategic Accounts
Arecont Vision Vice President of Strategic Accounts Carole Dougan
LOS ANGELES — The Women’s Security Council (WSC) named Arecont Vision Vice President of Strategic Accounts Carole Dougan as the 2012 Woman of the Year in the manufacturer category.
Dougan manages the company’s global distributor and systems integrator business with a primary focus in the Americas, working with major distributors such as Anixter, ADI, ScanSource and PSA Security Network. She also works closely with systems integrators such as ADT, Stanley and Siemens.
Dougan joined the security industry in 1985 in a customer service/training role, showing end users how to use time-lapse VHS recorders and sequential switchers. She previously served as Pelco’s director of strategic accounts. Dougan also spent several years in territory, national account and engineered systems design and sales with ADT in San Francisco and with Securus Inc. (now Kratos|HBE) in Denver.
