Tyco posted earnings of 59 cents per share on revenue of $2.49 billion for the quarter ended June 26.
Net income from continuing operations was $236 million, up from $232 million a year earlier.
ADT reported that its total revenue increased 5.8%to $898 million in Q3 2015. However, net income was down 8.5% to $75 million compared with $82 million in the same quarter last year.
NAPCO reported its third-quarter net sales increased 4% from the same quarter last year.
The company had revenue of $458.7 million for the quarter, compared to the consensus estimate of $454.3 million.
Revenue for the first quarter of 2015 was $32.1 million, compared with revenue of $31.9 million during the same period last year, representing 1% year-over-year growth.
The company cited currency issues and changes in overseas business operations were behind the overall loss, while gains in security services and products fueled growth for the security solutions group.
ADT currently has an average rating of “Hold” and an average price target of $37.80.
Substantial growth in the residential space is projected for those providers that keep pace with the advancing home automation trend.
