The B.C. Transit is looking to install a digital CCTV system for its buses to deter violence and vandalism on buses.
UTA will deploy 1,722 cameras on buses and trains, 470 on station platforms, 326 in parking lots and 144 at other UTA facilities.
Project includes providing Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) equipment and services.
