Security Sales & Integration will host its 5th Annual SSI Summit in December, held in conjunction with the CE Pro Summit and Commercial Integrator Summit, both of which are SSI sister publications owned by Emerald.

This year’s Summit will now be held as a virtual experience split into two installments:

  • SSI Summit East: Dec 1-2
  • SSI Summit West: Dec 3-4

The goal of these Summits is to help integrators grow and improve their already superb companies. As before, the 2019 itinerary included educational sessions, keynotes, networking events, a vendor expo, presentations and prescheduled one-on-one meetings with attendees.

For the SSI Summit, 105 leaders from the top security integration businesses throughout North America attended. And in total for the 2019 event, participating companies represented more than $4.2 billion in revenues and almost 200,000 installations.

SSI Summit sessions at this year’s even will include:

  • Finding & Securing Talent: Creating Career Paths, Not Just Another Job, with one of the industry’s top consultants presiding
  • Security Consultants Tell You What They Really, Really Want, featuring leading independent panelists closing the communication gap
  • Building an Empire: From Financing to Exit Planning, hosted by one of the industry’s chief deal-makers
  • Forming Business Models Around New Technology, which is super-hot now with COVID-related solutions

Though the event is still scheduled to go on as initially planned, Emerald, SSI and the rest are well prepared to pivot to a virtual experience that will be just as valuable and interesting if necessary due to these unpredictable times.
