Top 5 Surveillance Videos of the Week: Hundreds of Looters Storm Walmart

Other top surveillance videos of the week include an SUV destroying a Smoothie King, a delivery person being chased by a Great Dane and more.

The coronavirus has had a serious impact on our daily lives. Not even the top surveillance videos of the week are immune to COVID-19.

Due to much of the country (and world) being quarantined, there is unsurprisingly a lack of new interesting surveillance videos. In order to make sure we can keep bringing you this weekly feature to help lighten the mood in these trying times, we will temporarily be reducing the number of videos from 9 to 5.

Now, on to this week’s top surveillance videos…

While peaceful protesting has been taking place across the country over the past few weeks, sadly, so has the destruction of property and looting.

Surveillance video from a Tampa, Fla.-area Walmart shows hundreds of people streaming through the entrance to loot the store. According to the local Sheriff, the store was closed due to a protest happening nearby.

Eventually a group of approximately 200 people broke into the store, mostly looting from the electronics section. People can be seen stealing large TVs and video game consoles.

Also this week…

Surveillance video from four different angles shows an out-of-control car SUV smash into the side of a Smoothie King. The first angle from outside shows the SUV speeding toward the building, jump a curb and leap over a car in the drive-thru before crashing through the building.

The indoor footage shows the vehicle crash through the wall and send debris and employees everywhere. Miraculously, only one person suffered minor injuries.
