In this week’s Top Surveillance Videos…
The holidays are a time for family and friends to come together. However, they can also be stressful. Shoppers become impatient, people get desperate and curmudgeons become “grinchy.”
This week’s edition of top surveillance videos mostly features the worst of the holidays, but don’t worry, there’s some good too!
Take for instance the good samaritan in Texas that thought he was saving a man hanging from a roof. He sprang into action by grabbing a ladder and shouting, “Can you reach it!?”
Little did he know, it was just a mannequin paying homage to Clark Griswold from the famous scene in Christmas Vacation.
The arrival of the holidays also means an increase in porch pirates. With the increase of online shopping, it’s impossible to drive down the street without spotting piles of boxes on numerous doorsteps.
Fortunately, the rise of video doorbells has helped deter and even stop some porch pirates. And even in cases where they don’t, they often catch how inept a lot of these alleged thieves are.
Take for instance the porch pirate that tries to steal a massive TV. Common sense would dictate that if you want to steal a large TV, you should use a van or SUV, and not a small sedan (not that I’m advocating package theft). But I guess if these people had common sense they wouldn’t be committing these crimes in the first place.
Make sure to check out the rest of this week’s top surveillance videos which include a grinch plowing down Christmas yard decorations, a store brawl and much more! Happy Holidays!
