Top 9 Surveillance Videos of the Week: Actor Danny Trejo Rescues Boy in Car Crash

Other top surveillance videos of the week include police taking out the Dayton gunman, a man robbed while sleeping and more.

In this week’s Top Surveillance Videos…

Danny Trejo has been one of the most prolific actors in Hollywood for the past three decades. Not every one of his movies may end up at your local cinema, but you can’t knock that kind of hustle.

Trejo started off his career like many “tough guys” — as the villain’s muscle. As time went on, the size of his roles increased and he was eventually starring in his own movies as the hero.

Recently, Trejo showed that his hero skills aren’t just an act. Surveillance video caught a car accident on camera that shows an SUV get T-boned and then roll over. You then see a man run into frame towards the wreckage. That man? You’ve probably guessed already.

Inside the vehicle was a grandmother and her special-needs grandson. With the help of another bystander, Trejo was able to rescue the trapped boy from the wreckage. Machete may not text, but he would probably make for a decent firefighter/EMT.

Also this week…

Last weekend a gunman in Dayton, Ohio opened fire on a busy downtown street, killing nine people and injuring dozens more. Police were able to neutralize the suspect within 32 seconds.

Surveillance video from that night shows how chaotic the scene was, as well as the moment police officers took down the suspect.

Make sure to check out the rest of this week’s top surveillance videos which include boutique bandits, a puzzling burglary and more.
