Top 5 Surveillance Videos of the Week: Irate Customer Trashes Wendy’s Via Drive-Thru Window

Other top surveillance videos of the week include a tourist damaging a 19th-century statue, a flag thief and more.

The coronavirus has had a serious impact on our daily lives. Not even the top surveillance videos of the week are immune to COVID-19.

Due to much of the country (and world) still wary of being out and about in public, there is unsurprisingly a lack of new interesting surveillance videos. In order to make sure we can keep bringing you this weekly feature to help lighten the mood in these trying times, we will temporarily be reducing the number of videos from 9 to 5.

Now, on to this week’s top surveillance videos…

There are a lot of dangerous jobs out there. As ridiculous as it may sound, one could argue that fast food drive-thru worker could be added to the list.

We’ve seen a number of videos of terrible things taking place in drive-thrus, whether its being physically assaulted, held at gunpoint or having hot coffee throw at your face.

The latest incident comes from a Wendy’s in Tampa, Fla. Surveillance video shows a group of men get out of a car parked in front of the drive-thru window.

They head to the front of the building, but one suspect eventually goes back to the open drive-thru window. He reaches in and begins throwing everything he can get his hands on. He then tries to grab a money tray but the employees are able to grab it just in time.

Also this week…

When travelling abroad, it’s very important to be respectful of the country you are visiting … especially in museums.

Surveillance video from a museum in Italy shows a man from Austria sitting on a 19th century statue to have his photo taken. As he leans back, he snaps the toes off. He looks at the damage and acts as if nothing happened. Police would end up finding him thanks to contact tracing information.
