John R. Jennings – Born Phoenix, Arizona
University of Arizona Graduated 1975 College of Business
- Joined Safeguard Security in 1975 as alarm installer.
- Became President and General Manager 1981.
- Became Chief Executive Officer in 2001.
During John’s tenure with Safeguard yearly gross revenues have increased from $500,000 to over $38 million.
Mr. Jennings completed a successful sale of the Safeguard to SAFE Security in 2014. He continues to operate a Managed Access Control Software company, CQR Technologies, Inc / QuickPass with his daughter, Sarah.
Mr. Jennings is a recipient the Morris Weinstock Person of the year award, the first Honeywell Security Lifetime Achievement Award and a member of the SSI Security Industry Hall of Fame.
