Inside Technologies, Apollo Security Strike a Deal

Inside Technologies, a French semiconductor company developing contactless smart card chips and reader technology for access control, announces that it has entered into an arrangement with Apollo Security Systems Inc., a U.S.-based company specializing in providing access control solutions. Apollo will enhance its current product offerings to include a multistandard smart card reader capable of operating with a range of smart cards, including Inside’s Pico Family and any other ISO 14443 A/B- or ISO 15693-compliant smart card.
“We are very pleased that Apollo has chosen our smart card technology,” says Steve Lewis, Inside’s smart card marketing manager. “The company is clearly a leader in its field and has recognized that the market for access control is evolving from 125kHz proximity into smarter systems.”
Cliff Crane, Apollo managing director, adds, “The association with Inside Technologies allows Apollo to meet our customers’ requirements by immediately providing a proven economical smart card solution.”
