Keith Aubele led both Walmart and The Home Depot’s loss prevention, asset protection, & security teams during his career. He is the end user that integrators had to answer to. He understands the end user perspective as well as anyone. Grant Cowan has a vast knowledge of the integrator role and function when delivering and deploying tool sets. His wisdom and vantage point make him a reliable asset to integrators and end users.

Keith Aubele

Keith Aubele, CPP, LPP has over 30 years of senior executive leadership in the Global Loss Prevention, CSO, Asset Protection, Risk Management and Retail Operations. He held executive leadership roles with The Home Depot and Walmart Stores, Inc. He held the position of Corporate Vice President of Global Loss Prevention ( SVP position) for The Home Depot. While at The Home Depot, Keith’s team took shrink to the lowest level ever in company history, and posted over 650 million dollars to the bottom line through process change. Prior to his work at Home Depot, Keith served a tenured career as the Director of Loss Prevention for Walmart Stores.

Today, as the founder of the Nav1gate Group, Keith and his team provides global senior advisory to retailers and businesses around the world looking to grow profitability and protect the bottom line while creating a safe and secure environment. He also provides advisory to solution providers looking to develop and deploy key tools for the retail vertical. He is regarded as an industry subject matter expert. Keith is a published author and has written over 100 articles regarding AP/LP, and has spoken and key noted at dozens of industry conferences during his career.

Keith holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminology from Missouri Southern State University, a Master’s Degree in Business Management from Troy University, a Certified Protection Professional designate (CPP) from ASIS International, and the Loss Prevention Professional designate (LPP) from Missouri Southern State University. He is a United States Air Force and Law Enforcement Veteran.
 

Grant Cowan

Grant Cowan is Salient’s director of key accounts. He has spent more than 15 years in the video management software industry as a trusted advisor to his customers by helping find creative solutions for the problems that exist for retailers and other end users. Today, Cowan is the director of national accounts for Salient Systems where he focuses on regional and national project design and deployment.
