The integrator should be focused not only on the current needs of the customer, but also how the system will be functioning five years down the line. Will they want to transition from proximity credentials to smart cards or mobile credentials? Then that information needs to be gathered and taken into account when delivering an access control solution. Future-proofing is essential.
