Optelecom has named Edmund Ludwig president and CEO of the company. He has more than three decades of senior management experience and has served, at various times, as the company’s chief technologist and executive vice president, among other positions.
The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) has appointed Philip DiNenno, P.E., to a 3-year term as chair of the association’s Standards Council. Also appointed as new members are Rick Breezee, John Stevenson and Peter Gore Willse.
Viisage Technology has nominated for election John Gannon to the company’s board of directors. Currently he serves as vice chairman of Intellibridge Corp. In the meantime, Gannon will act as a consultant to the board.
John Davis has been named vice president and general manager of Security Services of Murfreesboro. Davis previously held the position of operations manager at the company and served as its acting general manager since May 2001.
James Henry has been appointed chairman and CEO of Diversified Security Solutions. He formerly served as president and CEO. Also, Irvin Witcosky has been named president of the company.In other company news, Joseph Ritorto has been appointed as the sixth member to the company’s board of directors.
