Factory Mutual Restructures, Has New Names
NORWOOD, Mass.
Factory Mutual Research, a scientific research and product
testing organization and an affiliate of property insurer
FM Global, is operating under new names following a
corporate reorganization. The research division is now
known as FM Global Research and the Approvals division has
been renamed FM Approvals.
Tom Lawson, FM Global’s senior vice president of research and approvals, said the names may have changed but it is still business as usual for research and approvals. “Both FM Global Research and FM Approvals will continue to do cutting-edge work that is business-relevant and which sets loss prevention standards and practices worldwide.”
