FORMER FBI DIRECTOR LOUIS FREEH TO SPEAK AT SIA FORUM IN TAMPA

ALEXANDRIA, Va.

The Security Industry Association (SIA) announces that former FBI Director Louis Freeh will headline SIA’s Security Industry Forum to be held Feb. 3-5 at the Westin Innisbrook Resort in Tampa, Fla. Freeh will address forum attendees during a dinner event held on Feb. 4. The conference will carry the theme “The Digital Revolution and the Convergence of Technologies.”

Richard Chace, SIA executive director, says, “We could not be more excited about having Louis Freeh as our headline speaker at the forum. Mr. Freeh is uniquely qualified to address our industry as our nation emerges from the most horrific attacks we have seen on our soil. Our event is a wonderful mix of social functions, networking and cutting-edge seminars. It stands firmly on its own, but to add a world-renowned speaker such as Mr. Freeh makes this a can’t-miss event.”

Called “the singularly best-suited person in America to run the FBI” by New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, Freeh is credited with doubling the bureau’s international presence at a time when crime was becoming more global.
