ISC East to Share Convention Center With IT Security Show
NORWALK, Conn.
This year’s International Security Conference (ISC) East will have a roommate at New York’s Jacob Javits Convention Center. Show organizer Reed Exhibitions has announced the Infosecurity IT security show will be run concurrently with this year’s ISC East.
Infosecurity IT usually hosts 3,000 IT security professionals. This will add to the 8,500 to 8,700 that usually attend ISC East. Reed Exhibitions Group Vice president Dean Russo said the primary reason for bringing the two shows together is a natural aftereffect of the converging on physical and logical security in the marketplace.
“The issue of convergence within the physical security industry is a big priority for manufacturers and dealer/integrators alike as we found at the recently successful ISC West event,” says Russo. “The co-location of Infosecurity New York truly provides added value to ISC East by providing a crossover audience of IT security professionals that are becoming more and more involved in the physical security buying process.”
ISC East and Infosecurity IT will take place on Oct. 24 and 25.
