JMG Security Systems Raises $55,000 for Boys & Girls Club

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif.

JMG Security Systems of Fountain Valley, Calif., raised $55,000 in contributions for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Huntington Valley at its 14th annual golf tournament.

The May 13 tournament brought the total amount raised by the event over the years to more than $650,000. The proceeds benefit nearly 8,000 local children involved in the Boys & Girls Club program and will provide funds for school care, sports leagues, performing arts programs and licensed childcare.

More than 200 golfers participated in the tournament. In addition to entry fees, the income was generated by several sponsors including Bosch, Silent Knight, National Monitoring Center, Contractors Wire & Cable and Pacific Group.

“We’re very pleased that even in a year when the economy is down that this tournament nearly matched the amounts it raised in prior years,” says Ken Jacobs, founder and CEO of JMG. “Regardless of the strains on most of our budgets, we must not overlook the needs of charitable organizations, like the Boys & Girls Clubs, that do so much for our community.”
