SECURITY NETWORKS, ALLIED UTILITY ANNOUNCE PACT

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.

Security Networks announces that it has formed a strategic alliance with Atlanta-based Allied Utility Network, under which Security Networks will be Allied’s exclusive partner in the electronic security business. Allied was founded in 1997 with a mission to assist electric and gas companies in competing successfully as the energy industry faces major restructuring.

Richard W. Perry, president and founder of Security Networks, says, “We are thrilled with this partnership. Allied’s member utilities have been providing superior electric and power services to their customers for many years. We plan to bring that same level of commitment to their customers with high-quality life-safety products and services. Warren Oldham, Allied’s vice president of product and services development, adds, “Security Networks exemplifies the caliber of business partners we bring to our member utilities.”

Security Networks began operations in April 2000 as a platform upon which to build a diversified, full-service electronic security and life-safety company through acquisitions, organic growth and strategic alliances.
