Security Sales & Integration is proud to announce the finalists for the 2007 SAMMY Awards, which each year honors security dealers and systems integrators who exemplify professionalism in their sales, marketing and installation endeavors.

SSI will announce the winners of the 12th annual event March 27 during a free ceremony in Las Vegas on the eve of the International Security Conference and Exposition (ISC) West. The gala will be held in the Casanova Conference Room 601 at the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino. It all kicks off at 4:30 p.m. with hors d’ oeuvres and refreshments. The event also includes the official induction of the newest SSI Hall of Fame members, and the presentation of the annual Police Dispatch Quality (PDQ) Award.

HSM Electronic Protection Services of Jupiter, Fla., and Guardian Protection Services of Warrendale, Pa., lead the pack of SAMMY finalists with each company garnering nominations in six of the 13 categories. Both of the electronic security providers are winners of multiple SAMMY Awards from previous programs. Also noteworthy, Benson Systems of Gilbert, Ariz., posted nominations in four categories.

New for this year’s award line-up is the “Community Services Program” category. The honor is intended to recognize an installing security company for benevolent volunteer efforts at a local level.
