Stanley Security Reveals Winners of School Safety Grant Program
INDIANAPOLIS — STANLEY Security has announced the four winning schools of “Together for Safer Schools,” a $500,000 grant program.
As first-place winner, Faith Christian Academy of Sellersville, Pa., earned the $200,000. The three runners-up, each a winner of a $100,000 grant, include South Pointe Elementary School in Miami, Montessori School of Dayton in Kettering, Ohio and Pioneer Elementary School in Auburn, Wash. The grants will provide the winning schools with STANLEY Security installed products and services to help fund safer campuses.
STANLEY started the grant program to help K-12 schools enhance security on campus. In its first year, nearly 1,000 schools throughout the United States were nominated to receive security products and services.
“At STANLEY Security, we recognize that maintaining the safety of children and faculty in the classroom is crucial, a top priority in our communities, and at the forefront of our national consciousness,” says Brett Bontrager, senior vice president & group executive, STANLEY Security. “The Together for Safer Schools Grant Program embodies the universal concept that educational institutions should always remain protected, safe and supportive environments for the cultivation and growth of our youth.”
