Tennessee Association Creates Memorial Fund

NASHVILLE, Tenn.

The Tennessee Burglar and Fire Alarm Association (TBFAA) has created a fund for the children of a TBFAA member and former vice president. Sixteen-year TBFAA member Bill Smith, owner of DT Electronics in Madison, Tenn., was killed in a car accident Jan. 30. He is survived by two daughters.

Heavily involved in the NTS Training Program, Smith served as the association’s mid-state vice president for three years, director-at-large for two years and education chairman for 10 years.

Donations to the Bill Smith Memorial Fund can be sent to the TBFAA at P.O. Box 150062, Nashville, TN 37215. Checks must be payable to TBFAA.
