New York-based Video Domain Technologies’ D-V58/CELL is a standalone plug-and-play miniature DVR specially designed to provide operational solutions for any site without electricity or telephone lines, with battery power (drawing only 10mA in sleep mode), and in the field for long periods without the need for ongoing maintenance.
D-V58/CELL utilizes GSM/GPRS Class 12 cellular platform technology enabling customers to receive notification via cell phone and/or E-mail, with JPEG image attachments, anytime there is a trigger. It also enables communications with the unit in the field for management and control. Features also include 640 X 480 resolution (VGA), event-driven integrated video motion detection, and image recording to removable SD cards in parallel with sending images via cellular network.
