Norton Door Controls 5600 Series Low Energy Operator
Norton Door Controls of Monroe, N.C., an ASSA ABLOY company, releases the 5600 Series low energy operator.
The product combines the function of a door closer with the control of an operator to meet ADA requirements, according to the company. When used with hands-free wall switches, the 5600 offers a hands-free operation for environments such as public bathrooms and hospitals.
The operator features pull-side mounting and quiet operation. Other features include electronically controlled back check, sweep and latch, onboard power supply for accessories, activation options for wall switches, presence detectors and radio frequency devices. It also offers an electric hardware and access control interface.
