NTC Wants to ‘Train the Troops’ for Low-Voltage Industry

NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. — The National Training Center (NTC) is inviting recently discharged military service personnel to take part in its free “Train the Troops” program to educate them for careers in the low-voltage industry.

The origin of the program began with the idea to show a debt of gratitude to U.S. military members, who risk their lives every day for the safety and security of the country. Many returning service members are discharged within two months of returning from the battlefield, which affords them little time to find work in the civilian sector, says Charles Aulner, a former military service member and CEO of NTC.

“We recognized a need on both sides for this program. The low-voltage industry is growing, and most companies are constantly on the lookout for quality entry-level employees. NTC developed ‘Train the Troops’ to help bring these two sides together,” Aulner says.
