PSA, NSCA Combine Conferences for 2004

DENVER – The security industry’s largest cooperative and a trade association for the commercial electronic systems industry will combine their annual shows in 2004.

The PSA Security Network will have its security and life-safety pavilion with the National Systems Contractors Association’s (NSCA) event, creating the NSCA Systems Integration Expo(r).

PSA will manage the security and life-safety product showcase and oversee the conference’s security and life-safety education tracks, as well as run its own conference at the same time at a separate location. NSCA will focus on products and tracks more related to integrated commercial systems.

Despite merging both events, the two organizations say they will remain separate entities, but will take advantage of each other’s experience, professionalism and synergy. For PSA, the partnership enables the group to expand its exhibit and provide more space for classes and functions, says Bill Bozeman, president and CEO of PSA.

The event will be held March 19-21, 2004, at the Las Vegas Convention Center. For more information on the PSA event, call (800) 525-9422, ext. 120. For more information on the NSCA Expo, call (800) 446-6722.
