CSAA’s False Alarm Prevention Course Goes Online

VIENNA, Va. — After a year of planning, the Central Station Alarm Association (CSAA) has put online an Internet course created to educate end users on false alarm prevention. The online course is being offered to law enforcement and alarm companies as a way to help stem user error that leads to false police dispatches.

The “CSAA False Alarm Online Training” site provides a complete, user-friendly guide to what alarm systems are and how they operate and illustrates the chain of events once an alarm is activated.

The site is accessible through the CSAA’s main Web site at www.csaaul.org. Click the “False Alarm Online Training” icon on the right side of the page for more information and to access the course.
