Stanley Buys Out Sonitrol of Palm Beaches (Fla.)

Stanley Convergent Security Solutions (CSS) Inc. has purchased Sonitrol of the Palm Beaches, a Sonitrol dealer since 1974, located in West Palm Beach, Fla. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The sale includes commercial accounts including retail, restaurant, distribution and local government customers. Customer accounts span from Palm Beach to Martin counties.
“The Sonitrol of the Palm Beaches acquisition allows us to increase our presence in the Florida area, a market we see as a growth opportunity for our company,” says Tony Byerly, Stanley Convergent Security Solutions COO. “As we continue to expand, we look forward to working with our new Sonitrol customers by upholding Stanley CSS’s commitment and dedication to superior customer service.”
The acquisition comes on the heels of Stanley CSS’s acquisition of Sonitrol Corp. for $275 million.
“The Sonitrol of the Palm Beaches acquisition is a bolt-on that gives us additional Sonitrol presence and makes us even stronger for existing and potential customers in the audio verification market. We’re excited to be adding Sonitrol of the Palm Beaches’ distinguished group of customers to the Stanley family,” Byerly says.
