Carolina Advanced Digital, Aruba Networks Partner to Offer Wireless Solutions & Integrated Security

With the new partnership, Aruba Networks will tailor-make its products to pair with Carolina Advanced Digital’s services.

CARY, N.C. – Carolina Advanced Digital, a provider of technology infrastructure and security solutions, has joined forces with Aruba Networks, a provider of Wi-Fi network gear, to develop a line of products to help consumers in search of reliable, secure, wireless solutions.

Established in 1985, Carolina Advanced Digital provides engineering services and products, including network survey and documentation, network design and implementation services, access control, user management and enterprise backup and disaster recovery to government, education, healthcare and commercial clients across the United States.

“The security offerings built into Aruba’s products complement our company’s focus and competency on security,” Carolina Advanced Digital President and Chief Engineer John Jabbusch says. “Not all Wi-Fi vendors put security at the top of their feature lists, but Aruba does. Our customers prioritize security and adding their portfolio of products gives us a broader offering to meet clients’ needs.”

With the new partnership, Aruba Networks will tailor-make its products to pair with Carolina Advanced Digital’s services.

Aruba Network’s devices are tested and certified for federal security standards, which are increasingly being adopted as standard for state and local governments, as well as numerous industries, according to a press release.

“Aruba’s portfolio also empowers us to offer extensions and integrations to the wired network that are independent of the wired or wireless vendor,” Carolina Advanced Digitial Vice President of Engineering Jennifer Minella says. “We can offer best-of-breed management solutions that can manage and monitor any Wi-Fi – not just Aruba – and can help onboard and secure endpoint devices, guests, and offer additional Bring Your Own Device and mobile device management capabilities.”

The announcement comes days after, Hewlett-Packard, a Carolina Advanced Digital partner, announced that it will acquire Aruba Networks in a deal valued at $2.7 billion.

The companies will release further details regarding specific products of the partnership in the coming months.
