Camden Door Controls Introduces the CM-75 Series Column
The new Kinetic by Camden solution features push plate switches with built-in, no-battery wireless transmitters with up to a 300-foot range.
MISSISSAUGA, Ont., Canada — The newly released Kinetic by Camden is an advanced 900Mhz “power harvesting” wireless system that uses the energy created by the operation of the switch to power the wireless transmitter. Eliminating the batteries means avoiding annual maintenance and disposing of hazardous waste in landfill, according to the company
Kinetic by Camden is said to offer the reliable performance of a wired system for less than half the installed cost. The solution features up to a 300-foot range, and the switches are rated for one million cycles. Kinetic also features an ultra-compact receiver that’s easily installed in automatic door operator cabinets.
The CM-75 Series Column switches are available in aluminum, with the choice of clear, dark bronze and blue finishes. Camden Door Controls also offers a 36-foot tall stainless-steel model. Column switches are ideal where high/low switches (at hand and wheelchair foot height) are required by state or provincial codes.
