Rub Elbows With Industry’s Best at SAMMY Awards

As the popular state lottery saying goes, you have to be in it to win it. That may be true, but there is at least one event where even those who don’t enter can come out a winner. Are you planning to attend ISC Las Vegas, one of our industry’s largest trade shows, next month? Do the winning or finalist companies have the largest budgets or the greatest resources? Not necessarily. Throughout its 12-year history, the SAMMYs has featured winners from all strata of the alarm industry. In fact, the categories have been devised to promote equal opportunity for installing electronic security contractors big and small.

Featuring hors d’oeuvres, beverages and a multimedia presentation, the SAMMYs has been likened to the security industry’s version of the Oscars — without the fancy tuxedoes! In addition, the awards presentation and ceremony has become a great place to meet and network with your contemporaries. The festivities also include the newest members of the SSI Hall of Fame being formally inducted, and the presentation of the annual Police Dispatch Quality (PDQ) Award. We hope to see you there!
