NBFAA Convenes for Conference Sessions, Fundraising

LAS VEGAS — The National Burglar and Fire Alarm Association (NBFAA) hosted its Spring Conference and fundraising events concurrently with the 2007 ISC West.

Among its many annual gatherings, the association held its inaugural Emerging Technology Forum on March 29 with presenters Jordan Serlin, president of Cenuco and Bob Diamond, CEO of Xanboo. The Evening Event included the presentation of the celebrated Morris F. Weinstock Person of the Year Award to Chris Cage, general counsel for the U.S. division of Brink’s Inc., and the Sara E. Jackson Memorial Award to Greg Kessinger, owner of Safe Harbor Security.

On March 27, the day prior to the start of ISC West, members were exposed to chilly sleet and windy conditions at the Alarm Industry Research and Educational Foundation (AIREF)/NBFAA fourth annual Golf Without Guilt Tournament, and in a separate fundraising event, the first-ever Shootin’ Skeet at the Las Vegas Gun Club.

At the committee meetings and educational sessions, attendees gained valuable business knowledge.
