I-PRO Emphasizes Space Friendly Designs, Advanced Technologies at GSX 2023

The company points out that it was Formerly known as Panasonic i-PRO Sensing Solutions, and this year a key theme for i-PRO at GSX 2023 is to “discover the power of truth,” which it says speaks to its mission of empowering security teams to be more proactive towards threats.

i-PRO asserts that by delivering AI-based smart cameras and its Active Guard software as a standard feature for VMSs from Genetec, Milestone, Video Insight, and others, operators will benefit from actionable intelligence with more unique attributes about vehicles and humans than any other AI-based security system available.

GSX 2023 attendees will also see live, in-depth demonstrations of Active Guardi-PRO’s Integrated VMS plug-in for AI attribute forensic search and watchlist alarms for live events. i-PRO says that Active Guard shows the depth of what is possible when using advanced, edge-based, AI vision technology from Ambarella, a similar technology to that used in autonomous vehicles.

Other activities happening in i-PRO’s GSX 2023 booth include demos of its multi-directional + PTZ AI-auto tracking, which the company says is a multi-sensor camera that detects a target and sends an alarm to the PTZ. i-PRO stresses the PTZ moves to a preset position, it will then lock onto a target, and then it will start tracking the object.

In addition, the company boasts, that for the first time, attendees can see a technology demo that adds intelligent AI-based analytics to traditional, non-AI based network camera streams using edge-processing. Another industry first i-PRO contends, this technology extends the life of existing network cameras by turning them into smart devices.
