3xLOGIC Adds Access Control Lines With infinias Acquisition

Intelligent video surveillance specialist grows to more than 120 employees, half of them focused on R&D.

WESTMINSTER, Colo. ― Integrated intelligent security solutions provider 3xLOGIC Inc. has acquired the access control product lines of infinias Inc. The acquisition closed Feb. 27, and all related personnel and other moves were completed by March 2. Financial details were not released.

“This is an incredibly exciting time for us,” says 3xLOGIC CEO Matthew Kushner. “We are already a leader in video products with our VIGIL VMS, and in business intelligence, data management and cloud-based services with the release of our VIGIL Trends software. Acquiring the infinias access control lines is a natural next step in our evolution to a full solutions provider.”

The combined company will have in excess of 120 employees, and will continue to conduct business in its multinational locations of: Westminster, Colo. (corporate headquarters); Indiana; Florida; Canada; and China. In addition, 3xLOGIC is expanding into the European market with additional offices planned soon.

“infinias’ cloud-based, integrated solution is a highly innovative, scalable product. The company’s access control technology was the missing piece in our overall product offering, which previously consisted of video, business intelligence and managed services,” says Kushner. “Coupled with our cloud-based video solution, this acquisition means 3xLOGIC now will offer a fully integrated, scalable video and EAC cloud solution suited to small or midsized businesses and all the way up to those with multiple locations in the U.S. and even around the world.”

Established more than 15 years ago, 3xLOGIC supplies surveillance solutions that integrate audio, video, and disparate data such as access control, ATM, point-of-sale (POS), etc. The company’s video solutions are engineered for scalability and being simple to install, use and service.
