DVTEL Demos 4K Camera, Looking to Grow in Mid-Market

DVTEL’s 4K demo camera received a lot of buzz when the company unveiled the technology at ISC West.

4K received a lot of buzz during the recent ISC West 2014, and DVTEL was in the mix with its 4K demo camera.

DVTEL develops open-platform IP video surveillance solutions (VMS, cameras, encoders, video analytics) and is well established as a high-end, large systems specialist. Long-time industry friend Kim Loy, chief product officer and vice president of global marketing for DVTEL, said one of the key objectives of the company is growing its presence in the mid-market.

DVTEL is focused on helping its existing dealer partners expand in that direction as well as recruiting new dealers with concentrations on that sweet spot. Loy says there is also interest in generating more end-user pull-through for the DVTEL brand.

Among DVTELs other cameras include fixed cameras, HD PTZs, and mini domes.
