Illinois County Adopts NFPA Codes

QUINCY, Mass.

The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) has announced that Jersey County, Ill., is the latest locality to adopt its NFPA 5000, Building Construction and Safety Code and will use it as the basis of new residential construction requirements throughout the county. NFPA 5000 was the first building code developed with the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and includes provisions on integrated systems for residences.
