NBFAA, ALARMX.COM FORM STRATEGIC ALLIANCE
SILVER SPRING, Md.
The National Burglar & Fire Alarm Association (NBFAA) announces it has formed a strategic alliance with AlarmX.com, an Internet marketplace and resource center for the electronic systems, alarm, low voltage and systems integration industries that will provide NBFAA members with access to online ordering capabilities, as well as AlarmX.com’s tools, content and services. Through the arrangement, NBFAA’s more than 3,000 members can register with the site to conduct various business via the Internet. The site supports all existing pricing relationships and other arrangements negotiated between dealers and suppliers, and facilitates the delivery of the NBFAA’s services to its members.
“This is the major step forward into the Internet Age that many of our members are looking for,” says Bart Didden, NBFAA president. “Because of the AlarmX.com capabilities, our members have access to ordering, information and services 24 hours a day.” Mark Miller, president and founder of AlarmX.com, adds, “We are very honored to be associated with such a prestigious organization and look forward to providing the NBFAA members with a secure and convenient environment in which to conduct their business.”
