PowerHouse Alliance Members to Host 25+ Trainings, Events in May
Along with educational and training sessions, some member companies of the wholesale distribution alliance are celebrating new location openings.
PITTSBURGH, Pa. – Wholesale distribution companies that belong to the PowerHouse Alliance are scheduled to host more than 25 trainings and special events across the nation in May.
Midwest distributor Consumer Electronics Distributors (CED) will celebrate the opening of a new location in Elk Grove Village, Ill., on May 16. The new facility will offer a new will-call area with interactive displays featuring the latest product offerings.
Southeastern distributor 21st Century Distributing is hosting a month-long Integration Innovation Roadshow, which will make multiple stops in North Carolina, Florida, Georgia and Tennessee. The installments will include integration and network trainings, lunch and show-floor sessions. The company will also have trainings on URC Total Control and Clare Controls, May 31-June 2, in Charlotte, N.C.
Electrical Distributing Inc. (EDI) will host URC Total Control and Clare Controls training sessions at its Portland, Ore., and Seattle locations, as well as an RTI training. The distributor is slated to attend the Pacific Northwest Consumer Electronics Expo on May 17. EDI is incentivizing its dealers with the chance to win a 2016 Chevrolet Camaro RS through Sept. 30.
In Southern California, Volutone will host Sonos and Luxul trainings, as well as the 8th Annual Technology & Business Summit at two off-site locations on May 3 and May 5. Other distributor members including Sierra Select Distributors, Electronic Custom Distributors (ECD) and Autco are hosting several training sessions in May, including Denon, URC Total Control, JVC and Peerless Outdoor TV trainings.
“Not only are our members offering a significant amount of training opportunities to their dealers across the country in May, we are also attending several events and celebrating the expansion and addition of new locations,” says PowerHouse Alliance Executive Director Dennis Holzer. “The strength and continuous growth of the PowerHouse Alliance is proof that education is key to our success as well as to our dealers.”
