Rapid Response Dealers Convene in New York
SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Rapid Response Monitoring Systems Inc. provided a wealth of business training, networking opportunities and social activities for its dealer members at the recent Rapid Response Users’ Group 2010 (RRUG) conference.
More than 450 attendees took part in the annual event, held in early August at Turning Stone Resort and Casino in Verona, N.Y. About 35 educational sessions and courses on fire/life-safety, various security technologies, sales and marketing, and business tracks offered attendees NTS and/or NJ CEU credits.
Among the goings-on, dealers took part in roundtable sessions led by industry peers who presented real-life situations that challenged participants to come up with tangible business solutions and methods of improvement.
Additionally, attendees were given the opportunity to view the latest services the monitoring company has to offer during the Rapid Track seminars. The seminars focused on the company’s proprietary software, Web-based services and other technologies.
A roster of speakers included Eric Haseltine, president and managing director of Haseltine Partners LLC. During his keynote address, Haseltine discussed the process by which dealers can expand their businesses while maintaining efficiencies.
The event concluded with the Rapid Classic Golf Tournament, held at the lush Shenandoah Golf Course.
