Security Associates Intl. Acquires Louisiana-Based Central Station
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill.
Security Associates Intl. Inc. (SAI), the largest wholesale security alarm monitoring company in the United States, has acquired Monark Central Dispatch Inc., a Metairie, La.-based central station that monitors more than 25,000 accounts serviced by 200 independent alarm dealers across the Southeast. Monark becomes SAI’s 10th regionally located, UL-Listed central monitoring station. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. “Monark Central gives SAI another strategically-located central station where we have many long-standing dealer relationships,” says James Brannen, president of SAI. SAI provides security alarm monitoring services to residences and businesses, including more than 385,000 accounts owned by more than 2,500 independent security alarm installing and servicing dealers.
