MEMPHIS, Tenn. – SentryNet, a third-party central monitoring station, announces a new partnership with video verification solutions provider I-View Now.

Leveraging off-the-shelf security and video surveillance products, I-View Now technology is used to video verify alarms during the dispatch process. All video plays for the monitoring center operator in I-View Now’s universal player; all operator actions are stored in the event history of the central station software.

I-View Now integrates video and central station software. When an alarm is triggered, the operator can view a clip of what caused the alarm as well as live view the facility. Simultaneously, a text message or E-mail can be sent to the end user so they can view the same actionable video (event clip and live view) on their mobile device or computer. Users have the option to select a button to call the central station.
I-View Now removes the guessing games of what caused the system to go into alarm, allowing for quick and direct police dispatch, says Alain Jamet, SentryNet’s vice president of operations.
“This new service allows our dealers the flexibility installing product that’s most likely already familiar to them, while allowing for additional RMR opportunity and the benefit of verified dispatch,” Jamet says.
