DVR Increases Storage 150%, Upgrades
UserInterface Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America ofIrvine, Calif., introduces the DX-TL5000U, a new generation of DVRsthatincludes the same feature sets of the original DX-TL5000U, withenhancedhard-drive recording capacity that offers 150-percent more storagespace. Theoriginal unit came with 750GB of hard-drive space. TheDX-TL5000U is a one-box solution that will soon beavailable with hard-drive capacities of 1TB, 1.6TB and 2TB. The newsystem isalso easier to use because of a redesigned, intuitive user interface.Thesystem is built especially for demanding applications where long-termrecordingis required. Mitsubishi also offers the DX-ZD5UE, a 1TB hard-driveextensionunit designed to maximize storage capacity.
