Mavin Adds New Reporting Features, Mercury Support to Security Management Platform

Mavin Security Management Platform version 7.0 includes support for the new LP Series access control panels from Mercury Security and email/texting reporting capabilities.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Mavin Technologies, announces the general availability of its Mavin Security Management Platform (SMP) version 7.0.

The company’s cognitive, open architecture design is said to allow for numerous third-party integrations and plug-ins to digital video, intrusion and fire systems.

Mavin SMP 7.0 features new functionality including support for the new LP Series access control panels from Mercury Security and the ability to distribute system reports via text messaging and/or email.

“We are excited to now support Mercury’s latest access control panels and Series 3 downstream hardware devices, commonly known as the red boards,” says Jeff Ross, managing director at Mavin Technologies. “The new integration allows our customers to enjoy the many benefits that Mercury’s latest panel technology provides.”

Mavin SMP 7.0 also offers a redesigned report app with improved usability, performance and general look and feel, according to the company.

“In addition, Mavin 7.0 allows administrators to email and/or text system reports to pre-defined recipients on a scheduled basis,” adds Ross. “This new feature simplifies the process of getting required information to key personnel on a consistent basis.”

Mavin says it is currently building a network of authorized system integrators and value added resellers to deliver reliable, affordable Mavin products and services to customers of all sizes and industries.
