The company says the camera’s on-board analytics can be combined with features in VIGIL Server’s Advanced Reporting engine to support a wide range of security and surveillance applications, such as object detection, people counting and dwell time.

The company also points out that edge-based cameras give end users all the tools needed for edge- and server-based business intelligence. 3xLOGIC notes that data on customer dwell time, line queue lengths and times, and people counting analytics, as well as many other data points enable end users to make better informed business decisions.

The Midwest-based company adds that in retail environments, the ability to combine edge-based analytics with its VIGIL Server’s Advanced Reporting engine and POS integration provides all the tools needed for a powerful, versatile, server-based business intelligence solution.
