NEW YORK — Monitor America, a new central monitoring station on the East Coast, hosted a sneak preview of its new facility during ISC East.
Located in SecureWatch24’s new Fusion Centre facility in Moonachie, N.J., the 25,000-square-foot full-service central station features a 40-foot x 11-foot video display wall overlooking the 36-operator stadium style seating mission control room. Additionally, the central station will handle all cloud-based business-to-business, enterprise level and residential services ranging from hosted video and access control, virtual security tours, real-time event reporting, PERS services, intrusion, video monitoring and video verification of alarms.
“It looks like something NASA might put together — our dealer customers and integrators will be knocked out by it,” according to Jay Stuck, chief marketing officer for Monitoring America. “It brings to together virtually all existing alarm and hosted security services available today, including video analytics, in one central point. Regardless of a company’s or residence’s security platform, Monitor America has the ability to handle signal traffic and video for that customer’s ecosystem.”
The company, which expects to begin formal operations by the end of January, will be actively developing a third-party dealer customer monitoring sales initiative and as well as a traditional dealer program.
