IP Communicator Sends Alarm Data Over Networks and Internet
Digital Security Controls (DSC) of Concord, Ontario, Canada, a Tyco Fire & Security company, releases the T-Link TL300 universal IP communicator. The T-Link is an alarm communications module that can communicate with any control panel, including those made by third-party manufacturers, using Contact ID format.
The T-Link TL300 creates a fully supervised security connection between the protected premises and the central monitoring station using a client’s existing IP network. The system uses 128-bit AES encryption to further assure data security during transit.
According to DSC, the T-Link uses a small portion of available bandwidth, which minimizes the impact on a local area network (LAN).
