LAS VEGAS — Adept Audio, a new loudspeaker brand focused on the security industry, announces its line of audio solutions is now available through ADI Global Distribution.
Adept, which has been developed by Origin Acoustics, offers a complete line of in-ceiling, in-wall, indoor-outdoor speakers and subwoofers for residential and commercial security dealers who install sound systems. Dealers can now purchase Adept products at ADI’s 108 branch locations across North America or online through the wholesale distributor’s digital service.
“We’re excited about the launch of Adept Audio, and adding them to our product portfolio,” says Marco Cardazzi, vice president of global marketing at ADI. “Security dealers have different kinds of needs for a wide variety of projects, and having an audio brand dedicated to addressing those needs will help our dealers deliver advanced sound systems.”
Adept Audio speakers are engineered to save installation time, according to an announcement. A key differentiator is the Adept Trim-Ring, which is a patented, no-tool mounting system that make ceiling speaker installations safer and easier for installers who work high up on 12’ and 16’ ladders.
Dealers who install Adept Trim-Rings can quickly and easily hold a shootout in their client’s home or office, according to the announcement. This allows dealer clients to pick and choose which speakers they want to buy based on their listening preferences and budget. Adept dealers are using a top-down selling approach, starting with the Adept Flagship IC86 and moving down through a selection of any of the other Adept ceiling speakers, the announcement states.
“We developed the Adept brand to serve the growing interest in audio installations across the security market, and ADI’s robust distribution channels will help us extend our reach to these security professionals,” says Keith Marshall, president of Adept Audio. “We’re confident our speakers will deliver a combination of performance, convenience and value, and encourage security dealers to stop by their local ADI branch to see for themselves.”
