ADT Loses CFO, Gains Chief Customer Officer
BOCA RATON, Fla. — A year after she was appointed as ADT’s CFO, Kathryn Mikells is leaving the company to assume a role at Xerox Corp.
Mikells previously served as CFO of Naperville, Ill.-based Nalco, a global provider of water treatment and energy technologies. Prior to joining Nalco in October 2010, Mikells served as executive vice president and CFO of UAL Corp., the parent company of United Airlines. She also has held positions in the financial services industry with companies such as GE Capital Corporate Finance and Household Int’l.
She will continue to stay onboard with the company until May 1.
Meanwhile, ADT has appointed Alan Ferber as chief customer officer, a role in which he will be responsible for developing strategies and executing programs designed to create and sustain a superior experience for ADT customers.
Ferber most recently served as chief strategy and brand officer at U.S. Cellular. Prior to that he served as executive vice president of operations where he oversaw sales, marketing, operations, supply chain, call centers, and retail operations. During his 11-year career with U.S. Cellular, Ferber also served as chief marketing officer and vice president of marketing and sales operations.
