Convergint Acquires Beckwith to Expand South Central U.S. Presence
The acquisition of Beckwith adds 140 colleagues to Convergint, bolstering the company’s life-safety capabilities in the region.
FORT MYERS, Fla. — Convergint, a global leader in service-based systems integration, announces it has acquired Beckwith, a Texas-based integrator comprised of Beckwith Electronic Engineering, Co. and Beckwith Electronic Systems.
Beckwith specializes in communication, security and life-safety systems, and the acquisition adds 140 colleagues to Convergint, greatly expanding the company’s vertical reach and presence across the South Central region of the U.S.
Since its founding in 1962, Convergint says Beckwith has built a reputable brand and culture, providing a range of life-safety and communications systems across vertical markets including: healthcare, education, commercial, restaurant, retail, government and hotels.
