Boon Edam Appoints New President to Spearhead Sales in the Americas
Valerie Anderson has been with Boon Edam for a total of 14 years, serving on the executive management team for the past nine years.
LILLINGTON, N.C. — Boon Edam, a leading provider of revolving doors, high security doors and turnstiles, announces the appointment of Valerie Anderson as president and managing director.
Boon Edam is a subsidiary of Netherlands-based Royal Boon Edam and is responsible for sales in the Americas.
“It is with confidence and enthusiasm that this appointment was agreed as Valerie has proven to be a capable and dedicated member of the team,” says Lourens Beijer, chief commercial officer at Royal Boon Edam International BV. “We believe this is a great ‘next step’ for Valerie’s experience and passion for exceeding our customer’s expectations, and a great opportunity for Boon Edam as a whole.”
Anderson has been with the company for a total of 14 years, serving on the executive management team for the past 9 years. She started her career with the company in inside sales and served as inside sales manager in 2009.
In 2012, Anderson was promoted to vice president of product and customer support where her role then transitioned into vice president of customer experience leading the entire customer support organization of Boon Edam. In 2016, she served as vice president and national sales manager for the north and east regions of the United States as well as Latin America.
“As a sales leader and manager with over a decade of experience in the building entrances and security industry, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a dynamic group of customers and lead multiple teams to create and implement initiatives to deliver a great experience for the customer,” says Anderson. “At Boon Edam, the sale of the product is never the end of the process, it’s just the beginning. I work diligently every day to ensure our organization is performing with the customer as a purpose of their work.”
